Are you ready for an exciting opportunity to explore the vibrant culture of Guangzhou? Join us for the “Discover Guangzhou” Cultural Exchange & Service Trip in late March, where you will experience meaningful cultural interactions, engage in community service, and forge lasting friendships among local and non-local peers!
Over a weekend, you'll immerse yourself in the rich heritage of Guangzhou while making a positive impact on local communities. You will have the chance to engage in cultural exchanges with local youths, participate in hands-on community service activities, and learn about the historical and contemporary significance of the region by visiting various notable sites.
Eligibility
Full-time local and non-local students aged 18-29 with valid University YMCA membership
(Non-local students can enjoy 1-year YMCA membership for FREE!)

Children's Services: Engage in community service activities focused on supporting local children in Guangzhou.

Intangible Cultural Heritage Activities: Experience traditional Chinese culture.

City Exploration: Visit iconic sites such as Yongqingfang, Haixin Bridge and Beijing Road.

City Hunt in Guangzhou: Build relationships with local youths through an engaging City Hunt in Guangzhou.
Programme Fee (Upon successful admission to the programme)
$800 + Deposit $500*

The programme fee includes high-speed rail tickets, outbound bus tickets, meals, accommodation, local transportation, and programme activities with YMCA subsidy, excluding Visa fee (if applicable).

The deposit is refundable upon full attendance of all pre-trip meetings and the trip with satisfactory performance throughout the programme.

University & College YMCA Department of Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong reserves the right of final decision for any disputes.
