2026 marks an important milestone as the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong celebrates its 125th anniversary. Guided by the Christian spirit of “To serve, not to be served,” the organisation has witnessed over a century of urban transformation and social development in Hong Kong. At the same time, it also marks the 10th anniversary of the “Joint-U Playground Builder Project,” organised by the University & College YMCA Department.

To celebrate these two significant milestones, we are proud to present the “Building Joy in Every Step” Children’s Play Rights Creative Colouring Contest. Primary school students are invited to use colours and imagination to draw their dream playgrounds. The champion entry will serve as a reference blueprint for building an overseas playground under the Playground Builder Project, bringing more joy and hope to children around the world through the creativity of Hong Kong children!

Primary 1 to Primary 3 students are invited to use colours and imagination to draw their dream playgrounds.
