Founded in 2013, the Alliance of University & College YMCAs aims at fostering the collaborations among all University and College YMCAs. Further, it has been committed to uniting the efforts of youths to make a positive impact on the local and global communities through organising meaningful joint university/college activities and mass events.

Programmes organised by the Alliance have been well recognised. Since 2013, programmes have been awarded the first runner-up, second runner-up and championship of the "Best Student and Youth Volunteer Service Project Competition" of the Social Welfare Department respectively with a wide media coverage.
